4–5 Homegrown Organic Farms Persimmons, sliced
6 oz dark chocolate chips
2 tbsp coconut oil
Crushed pistachios or your favorite nut for topping

1 Wash and dry persimmons. Slice into rounds or wedges, depending on your preference.
2 In a microwave-safe bowl, combine dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until chocolate is completely melted
and smooth.
3 Dip each persimmon slice halfway into melted chocolate mixture, allowing any excess chocolate to drip back into the bowl.
4 Immediately sprinkle crushed pistachios over melted chocolate on each persimmon slice before chocolate sets.
5 Place chocolate-covered persimmons on parchment-lined baking sheet or plate and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chocolate is firm.
6 Once chilled and set, serve the chocolate-covered persimmons as a delightful dessert
or snack!
Note: You can adjust the amount of chocolate and coconut oil depending on how many persimmons you are covering. Ensure the persimmon slices are dry before dipping to help the chocolate adhere better. Experiment with different toppings like sea salt, chopped nuts, or shredded coconut for variety.
