Juice of 2 Bee Sweet Citrus Lemons
1 cup butter, softened
2¼ cups all-purpose flour, divided
2 cups granulated sugar, divided
4 large eggs
Confectioners’ sugar, as needed

1 Preheat oven to 350° F.
2 In a medium bowl, blend butter, 2 cups flour, and ½ cup sugar. Press into the bottom of an ungreased 13x9" pan.
3 Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until firm and golden.
4 In another bowl, whisk together the remaining 1½ cups sugar and ¼ cup flour. Whisk in eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the baked crust.
5 Bake for an additional 20 minutes. The bars will form up as they cool.
6 Once the pan has cooled, cut into 2" squares; dust with confectioners’ sugar, if desired. Enjoy!
