I, myself, can down at least three of these frozen treats in one sitting—so you can bet my senses tingled when I came across someone mixing up Mandarins, tequila, and coconut cream to bring a boozy twist to a dessert that already can’t be beat.

This refreshing libation gives shoppers the best of both worlds while increasing the produce department’s overall basket share. Just a picture of the dreamy, orange delight would be enough to make me stop and add a few more items to my grocery list.

Here's how to make it...
1 ½ oz your favorite tequila
4–5 orange slices
1 ½ oz coconut cream
¾ oz lime juice
½ oz agave
Sugar, for garnish
Fresh mint, for garnish
Extra orange slices, for garnish
Prep Time: 10 min
Servings: 1
1. Add orange slices and fresh lime juice to a cocktail shaker and muddle together.
2. Add tequila, coconut cream, agave, and ice, and shake well.
3. Rim a glass with lime juice and sugar and double strain the cocktail in the glass over ice.
4. Garnish with an additional orange slice and fresh mint, if desired. Enjoy!
Tip: To up the luxury of this already enjoyable creation, candy a few orange slices using some granulated sugar and water and you’ll be left with a classy, even sweeter garnish!
