Top 10 WTF's (What the Forks) of 2024

We are living in an amazing age where the terms “celebrity” and “chef” have come together to create consumer-facing superstars within our industry. I believe I am in good company when I wonder what food experts do with the product of their study in their own homes—particularly those growing them. What do those who know best about steaming artichokes, getting creative with citrus and berries, or utilizing dragon fruit create in their own kitchens?

Every time our team receives a new What The Fork (WTF) recipe, I get a glimpse of a produce expert’s own table. The connection between my trade and consumer brains flares—both sides alight with passion and renewed gratitude that my job is about food. WTF recipes are the key reason, when welcoming a new addition to The Snack team, I advise they copyedit the latest issue on a full stomach. So, I was not the least bit surprised when calling upon that team to bring a few favorites to the table that is our November issue, there was no hesitation and plenty of inspiration.

Thus, in no order except when in the day we might indulge in them, please enjoy at your leisure the standout recipes from the 2024 Snack issues, as remembered and cherished by our editorial team.
