“We in the produce industry are very fortunate to be able to be a part of everyone’s everyday lives by providing healthy fresh food. It is especially gratifying as we gather around our families during the holidays and know, in some small way, we have contributed to these special meals. In our family holiday gatherings, some of the produce items are Brussels sprouts, fresh salads, yams, potatoes, broccoli, and such. “The holidays are a time of celebration and reflection. The season invites precious moments to enjoy time with loved ones, indulge in laughter, and spend a little extra time cultivating memories through sharing meals together. We have a couple tried-and-true classic recipes that always show up, including Nana’s Wassail and Mom’s stuffing. And we also enjoy testing out new creations.
